The mention of fog or low cloud adds a sense of mystery, while the description of the ceramics brings a pop of color and vibrancy. The contemplation on dementia and privilege adds depth and poignancy to the piece. Overall, the poem encourages the reader to be present and savor the beauty and experiences of life. Thank you, Liz, for sharing

Really resonates with me Liz. Is the book you are reading if some help to help my mom more? She has Alzheimer’s. It is a sad, but reality for us. So let me know. Xx

The wondering about dementia came as a shock! I love - eating colour and drinking light.

So much in this short poem Liz with 'facing up to privilege' and ' feasting on Life'. Letting each hour nourish and sustain. Xx
